2. Academic Content & Copyright Fair Dealing
All study notes, summaries, and question papers are compiled strictly for non-commercial educational study under the Fair Dealing doctrine (Section 52(1)(a) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957).
- Independent platform: NOT officially affiliated with VTU, BCU, or BU
- Notes authored by students remain the property of their creators
- Commercial resale, redistribution, or bulk monetization is prohibited
3. User Conduct & Platform Security
To ensure an equitable study environment for all Karnataka students, users must comply with security standards:
- No automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading via bots
- No circumventing anti-screenshot, CDN protection, or App Check
- No submitting fraudulent reports, spam, or malicious payloads
4. Limitation of Liability & Jurisdiction
Educational materials are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Official curriculum announcements by your university board take precedence over all informal notes.
- No warranty of university examination outcomes or score guarantees
- Official university circulars take precedence at all times

5. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal Terms (California ARL Compliance)
NammaCampus currently provides free educational materials. In the event premium tiers or mock tests are introduced, we adhere strictly to the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600):
- Adjacent Renewal Disclosure: Renewal frequency, billing date, and charge amount shown right next to checkout CTA
- 1-Click Cancellation: Subscribers can cancel anytime with 1-click in Settings without retention hoops
- No Surprise Charges: Notification sent prior to material price changes or introductory rate expiration
- Refund Rights: Full refunds provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations
6. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our fair use guidelines, commit repeat copyright violations, or attempt malicious disruption of our services.
- Repeat copyright infringers will have account privileges permanently revoked
- Notice provided prior to suspension except for critical security infractions
