1. Data Collection & Purpose
Namma PGCET ("the Platform"), operated under the Namma Campus educational ecosystem, collects strictly necessary personal and academic data to deliver tailored Karnataka PGCET preparation:
- Identity Data (via Google Sign-In): Full Name, Email Address, Profile Picture URL, and Firebase Auth UID.
- Academic Profile: Enrolled PGCET stream (MBA, MCA, M.Tech), target year, and qualifying undergraduate degree.
- Optional Mobile Number: Stored for optional academic alerts and account recovery under DPDP Act consent.
2. Third-Party Data Processors
We partner only with certified cloud infrastructure processors:
- Google Firebase: Authentication, Cloud Firestore (encrypted database), and App Check (abuse prevention).
- Cloudflare R2 / CDN: Encrypted, HTTPS-only delivery of question papers and syllabus notes.
3. Private Sandbox Local Storage
All offline PDF question papers and notes are stored strictly inside the device's private internal app sandbox (getTemporaryDirectory). Binaries are never written to public external storage.
4. Anti-Scraping & FLAG_SECURE
The in-app PDF Viewer enables Android FLAG_SECURE to prevent unauthorized screenshot capture and scraping of proprietary question papers.
5. Right to Erasure (Account Deletion)
Students may instantly erase their account and all associated cloud data via the in-app "Delete Account" button or by contacting support at nammacampus.community@gmail.com. You may also submit an online request directly via our Account & Data Deletion Portal.
